Taylor’s Tumor Removal Surgery

Hi friends,
We know it’s a hard time of year to ask for help, but we think you will understand.
Our beloved 12 year old little Taylor gal is having surgery on Friday Dec. 21st to remove a large mass from her mammary gland that is very likely to be cancerous.
We noticed it around December 8th and it grew large quickly, which was alarming to her doctor, who had been treating her since we got her in 2012. We’ve known since we adopted her around age 1 that cancer in her mammaries could be possible later on in life, because she had puppies at such a young age and had to nurse and wean quickly.
We are grateful we noticed it early and we are hopeful that by getting it out quickly, she will be cancer-free and have more years of peppy Taylor life. She is acting like her normal self - eating, walking, playing, wagging. She is telling us she needs to fight this and wants more time, so we’re listening to her.
We have pet insurance but that will only cover a portion of her surgery, hospital stay, x-rays, medication, etc and it does not make funds available to us up front, which is what we need. We know from her bladder stone surgery this past March that we are looking at around $5k to $7k for this procedure, depending on what they find when they go in. We would clear our banks accounts to do this for her, but we just don’t have the money on our own. We are turning to our amazing community of friends and family near and far, who have followed the wonderful life of Taylor for 12+ years.
We are so grateful for your help, no matter the amount, and Taylor is too. Thank you from the bottoms of our hopeful hearts.
