Funeral Expenses for the Family of

Donation protected
Randy was a husband, a father of 4, and a grandfather of 4, who survived cancer twice. On Friday July 10th, 2015 my mom (his wife of 24 years) recieved a call that my dad had collapsed and was unresponsive and being rushed by EMS to Oakwood hospital in Dearborn. We live about 40 minutes away depending on traffic. I rushed to go pick my mom up and we were on our way to the hospital. My sister Krystal who only lives 15 minutes away got to the hospital first but they told her she had to wait until my mom got there, which at that point we assumed the worst, to get any information. When we arrived at the hospital, we were led to the family waiting room and had to wait for the doctor to come in and speak to us. When the doctor came in, she explained that he was given CPR before the ambulance got there as well as in the ambulance and when he arrived at the hospital. To no avail could they get his heart to beat again. We had lost our dad, husband, grandfather to a untimely death. Now comes the hard part of funeral expenses. Randy wished to be cremated. He also wished to not have a sad funeral, he wanted people to celebrate his life. But everything costs money. Money that my mom does not have since she has been going back to school to become a medical assistant and does not get paid for her externship to finish her schooling. We are not asking for alot, just enough to cover expenses, if you wish to donate feel free, if not thats ok too. Thank you so much!
