Jimmy's medical and funeral costs

Hi my name is Christine, James's wife of 30 years. It was Father's Day, June 21st when he started having trouble breathing, and was coughing up blood. I drove him to South County Hospital ER, and he was taken in right away. He was put on oxygen, and a CAT SCAN was performed where they found a large mass in his right lung which was pushing on his airway, and had punctured his lung. We have been together for 35 years. I was 20 yrs old, and James was 25 when we met. We married 5 years later, and have two sons who are 24 and 29 years old. James stayed at South County being on oxygen, morphine for pain, and many tests. He left on Saturday the 27th coming home with nine different prescriptions, and still uncomfortable. Monday, June 29th was our 30th wedding anniversary. We never had a chance to celebrate with one another. The next day, June 30th, Tuesday we met with his oncologist to discuss treatments at 3pm that afternoon. Once home within an hour or more he was coughing blood from his mouth, and it began coming from his nose. I called his oncologist to give him this information, which he had to be paged, and called me right away. I started heading to the car with my husband, but he collasped in the front yard, and I called 911. He left in the ambulance, and I followed. He went to South County Hospital, but soon left for RI Hospital. I was with him at South County, but left to pick my son up from work. My husband did call me to say I'm leaving for Providence. Those were the last words I heard from him. He was put in a medically induced coma for an intebated tube to help him breathe. He is in the critical care ICU on a machine breathing for him. It has been 13 days now being treated with radiation aggressively. He has had nine treatments to shrink the tumor, but now the cancer has gone from stage 111B to stage 4. He can't breath on his own, and my sons and I have to this week take him off the machine, and say our last goodbyes. We are hurting, and our hearts are so broken. My sons are soooo sad and devastated. Their Father is their best friend, and we sacrificed to give them a good life. They are fishing buddies, hang out, and as babies he took care of them while I worked days, and he worked nights. Great man. We are such a close family, and have soo much love for one another. The past four years my husband was sick with vascular disease of his legs, and had a complete bypass on both legs, and went on total Social Security Disability Insurance having to leave his employment after 15 years. He is 59, and had life insurance with his employment that we no longer have, and could not afford due to his income being cut more than half. He also carried our health insurance, but I had to pick that up with my company leaving us with less income from my pay. We need help to cover some medical costs, but I am reaching out to you, because we need to be able to have a funeral for him soon with no money. Please find it in your heart to help us. Any help would be greatly appreciated, and I hope I can give back some day to someone less fortunate than us or in our situation. We miss him sooo much now not being able to communicate with him, and soon we will be surrounding him watching him take his last breath. This breaks my heart that my sons still young have to witness this, and miss their best friend forever.
