Girl Power!

On Labor Day weekend, due to significant behavioral changes, Chris was taken to the Emergency Department in Rhinelander, where it was discovered that she had 6 tumors in her brain, one in her lungs, and one in her kidney. On September 14th, Chris underwent brain surgery to remove 3 of the 6 brain tumors - the surgery was a success! She was then transferred back home to Oshkosh to undergo inpatient therapy to help repair the damage due to the tumors and swelling. She is currently continuing speech therapy as an outpatient and is eager to get back to "normal". Christine is now figuring out next steps to take care of the remaining tumors throughout her body. Christine is beyond brave (and my personal hero) and will fight this with everything she has!! Money raised from this page will help Christine and her family by helping to cover hospital and home bills. Thank you so much!!
