Please help us!

My son and I lost our home last year after our landlord, of 6 years, raised our rent from$1500 to $2700. We went through absolute heck living in our truck and staying at motels when we could afford them. We've been at the same motel now for the past 71/2 months.

During this time, my health has greatly deteriorated. I already had a vascular brain stem lesion that habitually bleeds 3-5 times a year and left me partially paralyzed on my left side after surgery. I also have a degenerative spine, thanks to my first career, that causes a great amount of chronic pain.  Now, I've started having serious cardiac issues this past year as well. The cardiac issues have gone from bad to worse. I've had one surgery for it already. I had to go on blood thinners after this surgery which created a brain stem bleed that didn't wish to stop. I'm, thankfully, still here but am not released to work. Now medical bills are starting to arrive.

It was already difficult to pay the bills when it was only my son working, but with people blessing us from my former Go Fund Me, we've managed.

I'd like to get back into a home again for my son and before something final happens to me.  He's been such a great blessing to me! But raising first and last months rent plus a security deposit was difficult when we were both working, let alone when it's only my son right now. The rent at the roadside motel alone is $550/week.  

We're simply falling behind in everything.  If I don't start paying on my medical bills I'll be left without care.  If I don't pay on our storages we'll lose everything including a lot that belonged to my parents and holds sentimental value, but things that I have from my son's early childhood.  We need help paying our rent as well.

I worked all of my life, usually 7 days a week, until the past year.  When I was on the racetrack I worked 7 days a week, 16-20 hours a day as horses cannot care for themselves. I was working even with health issues up until a few months ago doing substitute teaching as one of my BS degrees is in education. It's not that I don't wish to work, it's that my health is preventing it right now.
