In Loving Memory of Chantell (Russell) Hunter
Chantell fought her first battle with cancer at the age of eighteen months. She won. Over the next thirty-two years she brightened the lives of everyone who knew her and had three beautiful children who did the same.
In May of 2021 she started her second battle with cancer. On Friday July 2, she lost. It’s hard to comprehend how quickly it took her. Due to covid restrictions and the speed at which the disease progressed, many members of her family did not get the chance to see her during her illness. There were just photos of her rapid decline from being full of life to being painfully frail. She remained optimistic to the end. She inherited her outlook on life from her father. After her death, instead of expressing anger for losing her so young, he expressed gratitude for the thirty-two extra years she had lived after her original diagnosis. We are all grateful for those extra years we had with her.
Her three young children and her husband Richard were her entire world. There are hard days ahead as they adjust to a world without her in it. Please donate to help ease the financial burden on the family as they face this difficult time.
