Laelea was a devoted daughter, sister, aunt, and friend whose life was cut short by a non-COVID related health emergency.  No one was prepared to say goodbye to the person who most held the family together, particularly after just losing her dad, Peter Skerritt, earlier this year.

Laelea cared for her father full time during his extensive illness while still working to ensure that her parents' financial needs were met.  With her sudden passing, we want to ensure that her mom, Adele (pictured right), can take care of preliminary hospital and household expenses.  Many have asked if there was a way to contribute and pay respects to Laelea's memory, and we know that she would want her mother to be taken care of before anything else.
