Muslim Food Bank

The Muslim Food Bank is a Canada-wide Food Bank that provides food support, mental health services and resources to newcomers, refugees and local families in need.

With the recent increase of Refugees and newcomers from Afghanistan, Palestine, Syria and more, the Muslim Food Bank has received an influx of demand. All across Canada there is a huge shortage when it comes to Halal Food Support. Our organization aims to tackle this shortage and provide food assistance to families across Canada. Currently the Muslim Food Bank operates in Vancouver, Surrey, Calgary, Edmonton, Toronto, Kitchener, Brampton, Regina, Winnipeg and Halifax.

Beyond food support our organization sets to help our food bank clients get back on their feet through our caseworker support program, mental health program and employment support. Through our ASPIRE program, we are proud to help many families get out of the food bank cycle and become self reliant.

The Muslim Food Bank is urgently in need of support to support the increasing demand of our services. With the support of our generous donors we are able to continue to support our community and tackle food insecurity.
