Help Chris kick Cancer!

On February 22, 2022, following an ER visit and several tests, Chris Maass was diagnosed with

stage 4 rectal cancer that has spread to his liver and lungs. This is news no one ever wants to

hear, especially when your 44 years old, a husband and a father of two. This is where Chris'

journey to kicking cancer begins.........

Chris was born and raised in Seymour, Wisconsin. He married his high school sweetheart

Stacy Mader 21 years ago. They are raising two exceptional children, son Blake (16), daughter Isabelle (13), and Zoe, their family dog.

They have lived in Kaukauna for the past 20+ years and Chris has worked in

manufacturing for the past 12 years. He is an avid outdoorsman with a passion for

hunting and fishing with his family and friends. He enjoys cheering on the Brewers and

Packers every chance he gets. Chris is a great husband, dad, brother, son and friend!

In the first couple weeks since Chris was told he has cancer, he was able to consult with the Nationally recognized GI cancer experts at UW Madison.  The doctors agreed he needed to start aggressive chemotherapy as soon as possible, followed by surgery to remove the cancer. Chris will

be missing work during treatment. His family has many challenges ahead, but with his

fantastic team of doctors and the prayers and support of family, friends and community,

Chris is determined to kick cancer!
