Thanksgiving for All

Hi Everyone,

 

My name is Jax and I'm a chef and comedian from Brooklyn. I love cooking, especially for family and friends, so Thanksgiving has always been an important day for me. For the past two years, I've been providing free Thanksgiving meals (regular and vegan options!) to anyone I know who needs them-- pre-COVID, at my home, and now, via delivery. Last year during the lockdowns, I delivered meals through 3 boroughs (Brooklyn, Queens and Manhattan), and seeing the smiles on people's faces made my whole holiday (even though I didn't get home until 11pm--that BQE traffic is a NIGHTMARE!) I've already got 20 orders in and more than month left to go, so I'm estimating at least double that. This go fund me is to cover food costs, takeout containers, as well as a cooking space (the amount of orders has already exceeded what I can accommodate at home!) The goal may increase if I get more orders, but for now this should cover most of my costs.
