Andrew Nava's Funeral Services

It's still hard to believe that you're gone Andrew. My heart is heavy tonight, as I just found out the news earlier today. My name is Grecia (Grace), I work at the school where Andrew Nava attended. Andrew was a friendly and helpful student at our school. He was the type of kid everyone liked to be friends with. He was always so willing to help out any staff member or student. I particularly had a close relationship with Andrew, it all started when I shared my lunch with him one day. He asked me to share my lunch with him because in his words, he was "a growing boy" and needed all the food he could eat. From that point on he referred to me as "mom".  Every opportunity that I had, I shared my lunch with him and each and every time he was always so excited and appreciative. On the days I didn't bring   lunch  or brought a salad he'd get offended lol and he'd tell me "you're not doing your mom duty, you're not feeding me."  It was no secret I was quickly attached to him, the staff knew it, the rest of the students knew it, and he knew it. He was my son at work. 

 I couldn't believe the news when I found out. I had to confirm myself that he was gone. I took it upon myself to visit his father the moment I found out, he confirmed the tragic news.  Andrew was fatally shot on Saturday July 11, 2015 while riding his bike near his home in Los Angeles. He leaves behind a younger sister and father. His father is completely destroyed by what happened. I promised him that I would help him raise money no matter what, and so here I am friends and family. Trying to keep my promise. I would like to relieve some of that stress by contributing financially with your help.  Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
