In loving memory of Yosef Woldeyesus

It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved brother Yosef Woldeyesus (Josy) on the early morning of June 16th, 2023.

Josy came to the U.S. with his mother at an early age of 12. He attended Tucker Highschool and graduated from Georgia State University in 2017. Josy was loved by family, friends, and community members alike. Unfortunately, his sudden departure has left the family emotionally and financially unprepared for the extensive costs associated with a dignified farewell.

As we come together to honor his memory and lay his body to rest in Ethiopia, we are asking you for your prayers and support. Funds collected from this campaign will be used for funeral expenses and to help his family with what comes after.

Josy is survived by his mother, uncles, aunties and cousins.
