Zach Alderson’s Road to Recovery

Let me tell you a little about sweet Fran.

She is the kindest, most compassionate soul. She always helps others before herself. She spends her days taking care of those in need. Fran hasn’t lived in the Crowsnest Pass for her entire life, but she is currently touching the hearts of many in our community. She has helped so many families for years as a healthcare worker with their loved ones.

Her hardworking, dedicated, loveable only son, Zach, at age 20, just starting life out on his own was in a horrible motorcycle accident. Zach has a broken pelvis and broken legs, including open areas that will need skin grafts. Also, multiple fractures in his spine and has suffered from many heart and brain complications because of the impact on his body. He is enduring multiple surgeries and will be in the ICU for a minimum of 8 weeks to start his road to recuperating. He has been placed in a medically induced coma to allow his body to heal. He is now fighting pneumonia among other infections. 

Life is tough for everyone but life has gotten a little more difficult for Fran and Zach!

Anything you can donate will be greatly appreciated since Fran will have to travel back and forth to Calgary. Funds will be going to fuel, accommodations and meals so she can help him through this difficult time. Fran will be unable to work for some time as she will be dedicated to helping her son recover.
