Zach and Danae Williams
Donation protected
As some of you may know Zach Williams was recently hospitalized for a mass on his liver and undergoing testing for a diagnosis of his condition. Zach and his wife Danae will have many hospital trips and stays in the future so we wanted to create this GoFundMe to help for medical bills, gas, meals etc. People have asked ways to help so we thought this was the best option. Below is a post from Danae with more details about what’s going on.
This is a hard post to make. On Tuesday, Feb 28th my husband Zach felt side discomfort and started to notice the yellowing of his eyes. This prompted us to visit the emergency room at EORH where we were informed about a large mass on his liver. That night we made the drive to Columbus Ohio to the Wexner medical center ER and they promptly admitted him to the James cancer center. As of this very moment, we do not have a clear diagnosis but doctors believe it is a rare form of cancer called Fibrolamellar hepatocellular carcinoma that happens for unknown reasons in about 3% of teens and young adults. A biopsy in the next few days will confirm this and this post will be updated at that point but Zach will most likely be undergoing chemotherapy in the next few weeks to shrink the 15cm tumor in his liver.
We have full confidence in the Almighty and His miraculous healing hand. We are in good spirits and ask for everyone to lift Zach up in prayer and ask that he be healed by the Great Physician.
We also put our confidence in his team of doctors at the James that have been working diligently on a plan and also on today's modern medicine.
Since 2020 the pipeline business that had been booming for years in Eastern Ohio slowly lost momentum and it has been difficult for Zach to find and hold a permanent position. Only by the grace of good friends has he been able to obtain the few jobs he held during these past few years.
Thank you to everyone who has called, texted, visited and most importantly prayed for us.
There are no words that can describe how blessed we are to know so many amazing human beings. We are truly touched and feel the presence of holy spirit surrounding us by all of the prayers we've already received.
I have always been the type of girl to confront trials alone and head on, relying only on the strength, courage and determination God instilled in me at a young age and will continue push me to find solutions for my beloved husband. However, this is not a trial I, or we, can face alone. I realize that after feeling the overwhelming love joy and hope we have felt from our friends and family.
If your heart feels called to, we would be forever grateful for any help you may want to contribute towards his medical care.
Zach has been extremely upbeat and has had the best attitude toward each detail we have learned and we plan to continue that mindset.
We've been leaning on God's word and will continue to do that daily.
