Zach Elliott

Hi,

My name is Andrea and I am fundraising for my sister's husband, Zach Elliott.

Zach Elliott (32) Of Cottage Grove, graduated from high school in 2009. After he graduated, he joined the Marine Corp.

He met his wife Alicia in 2012 and got married in 2014 and begun a family. They have two beautiful boy Easton (7) Breven (6)

In 2018 Zach had a seizure at work and was diagnosed with an extremely aggressive brain tumor, grade 2 Astrocytoma. He had major brain surgery in 2018 to remove as much of the tumor they could remove. Unfortunately, they were only able to remove 80% of the tumor during surgery. He has been fighting a courageous battle with this ugly disease. He was going through chemo and radiation which continued to keep the tumor stable until it progressed into stage 4 Glioblastoma wild type which was deemed inoperable and terminal. He continued on chemo for four following months until the tumor stopped responding to treatment. They entered him into hospice care in September of 2023.

Zach has remained so courageous and positive throughout this extremely difficult journey he was handed.

Alicia also is one of the strongest souls you'll ever have the pleasure of meeting. While Zach was going through brain surgery in 2018, she was also losing our father to stage 4 kidney cancer. While Alicia's heart was with grief and sorrow, she had remained strong by Zach's side making all those tough decisions with such grace.

We are asking for donations to help take financial burden off Alica while she navigates through this new chapter of life caring for Zach & their children. Prayers are much appreciated as well!
