Zach Ford Memorial Fund
Donation protected
Following the sudden loss of Zach Ford, his coworkers and friends are setting up this fund to help support his family as they find a way forward through this tragic loss. Together we can help ease the financial burden and show them how much they are loved by us.
Zach joined the game industry in 2006 after attending Savannah College of Art and Design. He was an experienced developer responsible for level design, mission design, combat design and game systems. He shipped multiple AAA titles that broke publisher records. He enjoyed exploring early pre-production for new IPs by creating world-building documentation that works hand-in-hand with game design, art direction, and narrative teams.
Zach was passionate to combine gameplay, storytelling, and interesting environments, to deliver memorable experiences. He was a loving husband and adored their family dogs.
He was an active supporter of https://girlswhocode.com/ and donations to support their mission to close the gender gap in technology and to change the image of what a programmer looks like and does would get greatly appreciated.
