Zach Kazee Cremation Fund
Donation protected
My dear family, friends, and community- I come to you to humbly ask for assistance in funding the cremation costs for my brother-in-law, Zacharia “Zach” Kazee. Zach was homeless and found deceased Saturday, November 26th 2022 in a culvert near the tent he had been residing in, he was 36 years old. Zach’s life was not an easy one, he suffered from severe mental health issues that led to his homelessness. We do not know the circumstances of his death, just that foul play is not suspected. It is important to note that despite Zach’s struggle with mental health and homelessness, his family loved him dearly and never stopped trying to get help for him. Zacharia’s life and his death were tragic all around and the family is struggling to come to terms. Unfortunately, we do not have the funds to be able to cremate him, therefore, we are asking for donations to lessen the burden. Any donation is so genuinely appreciated and we thank everyone for the kindness that has been shown under these awful circumstances. In the event the donation amount exceeds the cost of cremation services, excess funds will be set aside for Zach’s daughter.
If you would like to donate but do not want to do so through GoFundMe, we have other options:
There is an account we set up under his daughter, Aleigha Lummus at Mountain West Federal Credit Union here in Butte.
