Heavenly Father, I lift my friend and her family to you in prayer. I ask that you would surround them in your peace and comfort as they walk and try to manuever through this great pain and loss. I pray you wrap them in your loving arms and let them know and feel you are so very close during all of this. Be their strength. Be their guide. Give them wisdom. Help them choose You in every moment as they grieve and heal from this. By Your power, Christ conquered death and the enemy! I pray you will give my friend and her family the blessing of Your peace and Your joy amid their grief. Your Word says that Jesus sings over us and loves us more than we can ever imagine. It also says You are near the broken-hearted. I ask thatYou would not only remind my friend of all this but bring comfort to her weary heart. I thank You for them and their life. Help them see the good in every day. Help them see You in this deep pain. We ask these things in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen.

My name is Deborah and I am a good friend of Laurens. As I'm sure you all know, she, and her entire family has recently endured a tragic loss. Devoted father to their three precious children, Brayden, Bryce and Wyatt Grace, Zach was taken away from them this past Saturday. I personally only knew Zach for a bit over a year, but for what I knew, I knew that he was a great Dad, who loved his children unconditionally. I know the pain his children are feeling, I lost my father at a young age and I can tell you that this family needs to be wrapped in our loving arms, our thoughts and prayers and provided for by our community of friends and family. Lauren, her children and her family have a lifelong journey ahead of them, but remembering the beautiful memories and keeping them so close to their hearts will prove to so incredibly valuable.

In our friend Jess' words "Life can be unfair. We plan, and plan, and dream about how we picture our lives to be. It is such a tragedy when life is lost too soon, and those plans seem to be stopped in their tracks. In times like these, we need to appreciate the good times, and try to care for those whose hearts are broken, and worlds forever changed. We have all lost a friend in Zach; but Brayden, Bryce and Wyatt Grace have lost their Daddy. In an effort to create some peace for their family, we would like to try and raise funds for the Children's future"

Lord, I ask that you help heal the pain of those suffering due to the loss of Zach. Please protect my friend Lauren, her family and her beautiful children from pain, hurt, confusion, anger and grief. Let them understand their Daddy is always with them, every day, in all they do. Let them walk confidently in faith that all will be okay and that they will always feel protected by Your love. Please heal hurt and pain in anyone who feels sadness, and show us how to live with love and graciousness.
