Zachary Filippo Memorial Fund

All that knew Zach well, saw him at his hoop, shooting with friends, with family or by himself, at all hours of the day or night—smiling, thinking or simply passing time. Zach was known for the happiness and kindness he exuded to friends and peers. No matter who they were, he had a uplifting word, he was inclusive and lifted people up. Zach’s legacy is about saying, “I Love You” —a message that brings people and groups of people together.


Zach’s natural ability to lift others will continue and endure through both The Zach Filippo Rule Memorial Scholarship To The University and an annual mission for outreach to underserved and vulnerable youth, through installation of basketball courts and hoops, delivering of equipment and care packages that encourage and display encouragement and love for others.
