The Zachary Mandel Memorial Fund at the Boston Foundation will provide annual grants to 501(c)(3) charitable organizations that help adults and children with physical and/or emotional disabilities, such as:

NEADS: Dogs for Deaf and Disabled Americans - Your support helps NEADS breed, raise and train World Class Service Dogs that provide life-changing independence, companionship, and connection for people who are deaf or have a disability.



VERMONT ADAPTIVE SKI & SPORTS- a nationally recognized organization that promotes independence and equality by empowering individuals with disabilities through inclusive sports and recreational programming, regardless of ability to pay.

HABITAT FOR HUMANITY - Habitat’s vision is of a world where everyone has a decent place to live. Habitat works toward their vision by building strength, stability and self-reliance in partnership with families in need of decent and affordable housing.

THE DYSLEXIA FOUNDATION - For more than 30 years, TDF has been bringing together leading scientists from important fields in dyslexia research, while working to create a bridge between research and practice.

This fund will also grant money to organizations that promote equality, diversity, and change through education, such as: 

THURGOOD MARSHALL COLLEGE FUND - the nation’s largest organization exclusively representing the Black College Community.  Through scholarships, capacity building and research initiatives, innovative programs, and strategic partnerships, TMCF is a vital resource in the K-12 and higher education space.
