Zachary Proctor Cancer Benefit
Donation protected
In early June of this year, Zachary went to the Doctor due to discomfort in his upper right chest. After a few follow-up visits, on July 11, 2022, Zachary Proctor was diagnosed with Grade III Osteosarcoma, a rare form of bone cancer. His treatment plan includes six rounds of chemotherapy and extensive surgery to remove three ribs and 60% of the pectoral muscle on his right side.
As many of you know, Zachary is an Artist. If you have been to his studio or already own one of his paintings, you know just how unique and inspiring his art is. His work is shown in numerous galleries across the western United States, and over the years, he has inspired joy, compassion, and an indelible sense of belonging through his art.
Unfortunately, since his diagnosis, Zachary has become a full-time patient, limiting his ability to make a living for his family. After surgery, Zach will need to re-learn how to paint, and it will take some time before he is painting and earning an income to support his family once again. If you were to ask Zachary, his greatest joy comes from being a husband and father.
The next few years are full of uncertainty, and many have reached out to ask what can be done to support Zachary and his family.
We are pleased to announce that Dave Ericson Fine Art is holding a Cancer Benefit Art night for Zachary Friday, September 16th, 2022, from 6pm-9pm. There will be over 60 original works available for purchase. There will be Paintings and drawings from Zachary and many well-known artist friends have also donated works. The outpouring of support from the art community has been inspiring. Many of the works donated were hanging in other galleries or were previously unavailable to the public.
Please join us in supporting the Proctor family. We stand with you in this fight Zach. ALL proceeds from this evening will go directly to the Proctor family to cover ongoing medical and living expenses. All donations from this event will be contributed using Go Fund Me.
