Zach is a senior at Western Branch High School and his parents have found themselves in a situation that is unimaginable.  He  suffered a spinal cord injury on Thursday, May 21, 2020, as the result of a gunshot wound to the neck.  He was unable to breathe on his own and paralyzed from the neck down.  His condition has improved slightly and he was moved from ICU a week after his admission to the hospital.   He will have a long tough road of healing ahead.

Fortunately, he will soon be transported to one of the most comprehensive rehabilitation facilities in the United States for people with spinal cord injury.  Unfortunately, this facility is not close to home.  Zach will be transported by air ambulance and his parents will incur a lot of travel expenses over an extended period of time during his recovery.   These expenses are in addition to the medial expenses he has incurred while at the hospital and will incur at the rehab facility.

Mark and Cindy appreciate everyone's prayers and offers to help.  So many people have reached out to them, feeling helpless, but expressing their love.

Please give what you can to help with the financial burden of this tragedy and please keep sending prayers for Zach and the Quimby family.
