Zachary Richards' Support Fund

On January 31, 2017, 16 year old Zachary Richards fell ill with what everyone thought might be the stomach bug that's going around.  When his symptoms worsened, his mom Courtney sought medical care.  Within a matter of hours, Zach went from urgent care to the emergency room to being admitted to Scottish Rite Children's Hospital of Atlanta.  The diagnosis of Lymphoma came within a matter of a few short hours and later we discovered that Zachary was battling Birkett's Lymphoma, a highly aggressive and rare type of the disease.  Zach's battle will last at least 6 months with only one day off and out of the hospital in between chemotherapy rounds.  Thus, the hospital will be his home for the coming months. Because of the rigor of the treatments and the effects of the chemo and cancer, Courtney has had to quit her job to care for Zachary.      Though there is certainly no expectation of donations, many of Zach's supporters have inquired about how to support the family and so we decided to create this gofundme account.  All of the money donated will go to Zachary's care and to support the family with the costs that ensue with such a diagnosis and treatment plan.  First and foremost, we covet your prayers and positive messages to Zach, Courtney, and our family.  If you choose to donate, we truly appreciate that as well.
