Zachary Getz Memorial Fund

On the morning of June 7, 2018, 4-year-old Zachary Getz went to be with Jesus in heaven. Shortly after major heart surgery, he left his parents David and Becky, brothers Micah and Josiah, and countless loved ones behind.

Zachary, who was born with half a heart, fought through many surgeries in his short life. He showed us all over and over that even though he had multiple congenital birth defects, God was still in control and able to do the impossible. His life was a miracle, a testimony to God's healing power and faithful love. We don't know the reasons why, but Jesus decided to bring Zachary home. He finally has a whole heart.

We are raising money to help the Getz family pay for expenses for Zachary's celebration of life service, which is scheduled for Saturday, June 16th, 2018, at 10 am at Palmcroft Church in Phoenix. All funds will go directly to the Getz family. You can also donate directly to Palmcroft Church in Zachary's name. Any additional funds raised will be donated to the Phoenix Children's Hospital for a reunion of heart families and PCH staff.

Thank you so much for helping to ease the financial burden the Getz family must bear to give Zachary a proper celebration of life and all that entails. This is a tangible way to bless David and Becky in this difficult time, and we know any contribution you can make will mean so much to them. Even if you cannot give financially, please know that your constant prayers for the Getz family at this time are greatly appreciated!

We will never forget you, Zachary. We long with all our hearts for the day when we will see you again—when you take our hands and lead us to Jesus, and we run together into His arms.
