Help Zachary Hubert Fight Cancer
Zack... Many of you know him as The Nub. Some of you know him as Zachary Hubert, and even “that dude that played at Paloma.” Despite what we know him as, we all love him and were shocked to hear that some one we knew and cared about so much was diagnosed with cancer. In April of this year, Zack was diagnosed with stage 2b testicular cancer with two different types of cancer cells: embryonal carcinoma and yolk sac tumor. He underwent a surgery immediately to have the cancer removed (earned him the nickname Lance).
Unfortunately, that’s not the end of it.
A small cancerous mass was discovered in his abdominal area. This means it has spread and has developed into stage 2/3 already. Rather than removing the mass (an extremely extensive procedure) Zack has decided to undergo Chemotherapy. This is expected to be about 12 weeks worth of chemo and required him to get a port put into his chest (earning him the nickname Neo, The One, and The Matrix). As best friends, we’re expected to make light of the situation, hence the questionable nicknames…
In all seriousness though, this journey will be challenging for the Hubert family mentally, physically, emotionally, and especially financially. That's why we’ve created this page to give Zack's friends and loved ones the opportunity to help raise $15,000. 100% of the donations (minus the standard cut for GoFundMe) will be used to support the Hubert family through this difficult time. Prevent him from earning anymore nicknames.
