Zach Montgomery is an 8th grader in the Seattle WA area. He has an amazing opportunity to travel to Japan with his Japanese class this summer (July 2017).
His Japanese teacher has been taking kids to Japan for more than 10 years. They will be seeing many sites, visiting schools, and living with a Japanese family for part of their trip. I've included their tentative itinerary below.
Zach has been working hard in his Japanese class to prepare for this trip.
The trip will cost about $3500. Zach is raising money through babysitting, but we will still have quite a bit to raise in addition to that.
Any help you could offer will be greatly appreciated!

Tentative Itinerary:
Jun 30: Arrive in late afternoon, stay in Tokyo, Homei-kan Inn
July 1-5: Explore sites around Tokyo/Yokohama areas
July 6: Travel to Nichinan Town in Tottori Prefecture
July 6-7: Tour Nichinan Town and visit elementary & middle schools
July 8: Travel to Matsue City in Shimane Prefecture
July 8~11: 3 Night Homestay with families Sat-Tue and in school Mon~Tue at Shimane Fuzoku Middle School
July 11: Stay at Inn in Matsue, Farewell dinner with host families
July 12: Travel to Hiroshima for tour of city and Peace Park. Stay in Inn.
July 13: Travel back to Seattle from Hiroshima via Tokyo.
