Zach Haus Battle Against Cancer and the Insurance Company

Hi! We are Zach’s family, friends and co-workers, and we are desperately seeking help in raising the funds necessary for his cancer treatments not covered by insurance.

Zach’s treatment plan consists of 9 weeks of chemotherapy, with each week also accompanied by white blood cell therapy. Unfortunately, only six of his nine chemo treatments are covered by insurance, and NONE of the white blood cell treatments are covered. These treatments are vital to Zach’s recovery. The out of pocket expense to Zach’s family for each white blood cell booster treatment is greater than $3,000. Additionally, Zach will undergo radiation therapy. The out of pocket costs associated with radiation are unknown at this time. 

We feel no person should be denied life-saving treatment based on their inability to pay.

Zach is a 31-year-old hardworking and loving husband to Allison (Cobb) and father of three beautiful young children, including a brand new baby boy. He is fun-loving, kind and extremely generous in his actions and deeds. He is a dedicated City of Chewelah employee and volunteer firefighter. Zach’s immediate priorities are taking care of his family, getting well and getting back to work … in that order.
