At 21 years old, you would never think a strong, faithful young man like Zach Wakefield would encounter a challenge like this.
Zach has been suffering from debilitating back pain, that at first, was considered to be sciatica for the past year. This year, April 11, 2019 Zach finally had an MRI done and thats when we heard that one word no one wants to hear — “cancer”.....
After many labs and tests its confirmed that Zach has classic Hodgkins Lymphoma Stage 4B. The road that lays ahead for him consists of 12 rounds of chemo every 2 weeks then radiation to target the mass in his hip.
As his mom, Tracy, said “Zach now needs to settle into a “new normal” way of life. The Doctors call this a “Stage 4”, but, his Dad, Junior, calls it “the beginning to an incredible testimony”.
The new journey for Zach will be tough and tiring as he goes thru his treatments. Zach is strong and has the heart of a champion and with the strength and faith of all his loved ones he does not have to go on this journey alone.
