Zack Cannon Emergency Surgery Fund

Hi, we are Nate and Emily Blauvelt and we are raising money for a member of our family, Zack Cannon. This last week Zack was complaining of eye inflammation, and after it continued to get worse he went to urgent care. Urgent care told him that he likely had cellulitis of the eye and to go to the emergency room. Luckily he decided to go to the the emergency room that evening. Once there they did a CAT scan and and started him on antibiotics. His CT scan has shown that his chronic sinusitis has caused his orbital bone in between his eyebrow and eye to deteriorate and erode and now he has a massive infection leaking into his eye as well as a polyp tumor in his eye from chronic inflammation. He has is now on his second day in the hospital with a surgery scheduled for tomorrow (1/11/2024) and will most likely have to stay in the hospital until Saturday, and potentially have a second surgery. The cost of this 6 day hospital stay, with one confirmed surgery as well as a second possible surgery would be astronomical as is, however as many of you know, Zack is a sound engineer and health insurance does not come with gig jobs. Zack is a beloved member of our family, he is Dante and Lu’s uncle, he is flapjacks Dad, and he is an integral member of the hardcore community. He goes out of his way to help everyone who is lucky enough to be in his life, he has helped countless bands sound there best at live events, and is one of the most loved people we know. Please help support the costs of someone who puts everyone else’s needs above his own.
