Zack Carlson

This benefit is on behalf of Zack Carlson. On April 15th he was in a dirt bike accident injuring his spine which has caused him to be paralyzed from the chest down. We are wanting to raise money for the family to help cover travel, lodging and food expenses while he is hospitalized in Toledo. He will then be transferred to Columbus for extensive therapy treatment for an unknown amount of time in an attempt to get his feeling back. The Carlson family is forever grateful for any help that comes their way. Their fight is big but their support system is bigger!!

April 20th update: Over the last 24 hours through lots of hard work, Zack's grip is getting stronger (he wants to hold that cell phone!!!!). The doctor has mentioned he may need additional surgery to the back of his neck to help move things along. The plan as of now is that early next week, Zack will be relocated to Columbus to the Dodd Rehabilitation Hospital on the OSU Campus for inpatient rehab for an undetermined amount of time. The family will be staying with Zack during this time. This journey is something they are doing together as a family and they can't thank all of you enough for your outpouring of support and want to extend their heartfelt gratitude to ALL of you for your support. The only focus right now is getting him back to Zack and you are all allowing that to happen!
