Zack Rawlinson Recovery Fund
Donation protected
Zack Rawlinson, a beloved father, husband, son, and friend, suffered a traumatic mountain bike accident on Saturday, May 7th.
The injuries from the crash are extensive. Zack lost consciousness and broke two vertebrae, 11 ribs, and his femur. He was rushed into emergency surgery, in which his lung collapsed and a chest tube was inserted. Zack is currently in the hospital, where doctors are monitoring his condition. He will remain there for another few days before going to a rehab center, or home, depending on his condition.
Zack and the Rawlinson family are facing a long road to recovery. It will be six weeks before Zack can physically support himself and 3-to-5 months before his femur will fully heal. During this time, Zack will be unable to return to his job for the City of Salt Lake where he worked to support his family and provide for his 6-year-old daughter, Adelaide.
The Rawlinson family would benefit substantially from the financial support of friends and family during this time to help offset medical and living expenses.
We will post updates on Zack’s condition here to keep you all informed.
Thank you, anything you can offer will really help.
