Zack Sanchez - Remembrance of his life

Paying Tribute to Zack
It is with a heavy heart to announce the passing of Zack Sanchez-Chong Cuy, 35, on March 29, 2020.
Zack contributed much of his time to coaching weightlifting, substitute teaching, reading philosophy, studying history, enjoying time with his family, and coaching high school football. Zack leaves behind a legacy of teachings.
He was a protector, a selfless man who sought to help others wherever he could. He was the type of coach to invest hours in the weight room teaching the value of “real” weightlifting. He was an educator, a person willing to share his knowledge to anyone willing to listen. He was the goofy and fun-loving older brother who lit up the room at every family gathering. He was a loving husband that enjoyed cooking for his dear wife Andrea, and showed nothing but love for his beloved pet Koda. Zack had a heart for those around him.
Today, I ask you to reciprocate that loving heart he had. Your donation today will go toward covering funeral and memorial service expenses for the Sanchez-Chong Cuy family. Anything in excess of funeral/memorial and end-of-life expenses will go towards creating a scholarship in Zack's honor.
Another way to contribute is for you to share your gratitude and appreciation with a memory in remembrance of Zack.
Funeral services will be private due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Arrangements are being handled by Frye Chapel & Mortuary in Brawley, CA. A memorial service will be held and announced at a later date.
