Weber State Football for Zac Tuttle (dad to Trey)
Donation protected
In October 2018, Trey Tuttle's dad, Zac Tuttle, was taken by EMS to the hospital for unknown reasons. Trey is an All-American and All-Conference kicker for our football team. After many tests, the doctors discovered that Zac had a seizure due to a large brain tumor on the left side of his brain. The doctors decided that the best option was to undergo a craniotomy to remove the tumor; however, due to the nature of the tumor they were unable to remove all of the cancerous cells. He was diagnosed with Glioblastoma, an aggressive brain cancer. He is now on several medications daily and is receiving chemotherapy and radiation five days a week.
Trey's family describes Zac as the person who will always stop for strangers with car trouble, who always goes out of his way to help anyone in need... even if it is 4 o’clock in the morning on the way home from a soccer tournament. Trey's dad is very selfless and is always kind to others, unless you catch him on the basketball court, in that case he is trash talking you and schooling you left and right, or if he his bass fishing wondering where the heck you are getting all the big fish from. He is always the life of the party and always has the most interesting stories and jokes. He is an amazing dad and an even better grandpa to his two grandkids, Clyde (5), and Allison (1 month).
Trey's siblings, Ashlee, Aubree, Brooke, and Sport, and his mother, Nancy, have all rallied together in this hard time to give him all the love and support we can. However, due to the severity of his brain cancer, he is unable to continue to run his business. Even after insurance, Zac has already amassed $450,000+ in medical bills. Trey and his family would appreciate any donation to his cause.
Donations will go toward his medical bills, treatment, and cost of living for his mother and younger brother Sport (14). Anything you would be willing to donate would be a blessing to Trey's family in this time of need. They thank you from the bottom of their hearts.
This campaign has been approved by Weber State's Office of Athletics Compliance and satisfies applicable NCAA rules. As such, Weber State boosters and institutional staff members may donate to this campaign. Donations are not tax deductible.
