Dan's Final Journey: Aid for Laura Dickson:

My name is Erin Larkins. My dad, Daniel Dickson, had been battling a lot of health problems over the years. Most recently, this year, we found out he had cancer. He did one round of treatment and decided he would not be enduring any more treatment of any kind regardless of the outcome. My mom was his primary caregiver and took care of him at home to the best of her abilities while maintaining her own health issues as well. My dad ended up having more complications due to his high blood sugar and struggle to eat due to the cancer in his throat. At the beginning of November, when he and my mom decided it was best to have hospice step in and help her handle his needs, he was back in the hospital and then eventually to the hospice facility.

My dad, whom many of you know as Dan, passed away in his sleep early Friday morning. My mom is in need of funds to help with his memorial and other expenses that come along with his passing.

If you are able to help in any way, she and I would be very grateful. If you are not able, that is completely understandable, and a kind word to her is always appreciated as well. Our family appreciates any and all help you are able to share.
