Zaharis Elementary needs Community Help

Tuesday night our friends at Zaharis Elementary suffered severe storm damage. Shutting down 30 of the 32 classrooms.

There was plenty of damage caused by the storm around north Mesa, but one of the locations that was hit particularly hard was Zaharis Elementary School.

Classrooms have been left a mess, flooding, and debris scattered throughout the campus.

Here at Cup of Joey, we would like to raise funds for the Teacher’s personal belongings that will not be covered by insurance.

These teachers fill their classrooms with beautiful items purchased with their own money (bookcases full of books, couches, reading rugs, etc.), as well as gifts that will not be able to be replaced.

We are trying to raise $500 per classroom to help teachers replace some of the items that will not be replaced by insurance.
