my son Zakary began having grand mal seizures a month after he turned 3 after seeing many specialists he was diagnosed with cryptogenic focalized seizure disorder it is a rare medication resistent form of epelepsy his brain is covered in non malignent tumors he needs to have a vns placed (vagus nerve stimulator) to reduce the 45 percent stroke risk this disorder carries also it carries a 60 percent risk of sudep (sudden death in epelepsy) since he is also plagued with nocturnal seizures (seizures that come out of nowhere while he is sleeping ) so we are also trying to raise money for a seizure response dog that would be trained to clear his airway as will waken chokong on blood and vomit the dog would also be able to detect oncoming seizures I truly hate having to ask others for help but I have been out if work to carefor my son thank you in advance for any help
