Help Zak Finally Get Top Surgery

Hi, my name is Zak; I’m a gay man of transgender experience, and a post-Soviet Jew currently in the process of reconnecting with the Jewish community. I’m raising funds for top surgery with a private clinic after my chosen NHS surgeon refused to operate on me without even seeing me for a face to face consultation. While I’ve been told my case will be transferred to a different hospital, that’s potentially another year of waiting only to be told that they won’t even see me for a consultation; further, I can’t afford travel to Manchester or Hull, even if the NHS will eventually reimburse me. Thus, I’ve decided to investigate other options. I am looking into having top surgery done by a private clinic near where I live. I’m already in my 30s. I’ve had to delay many aspects of my transition due to homelessness. I really can’t abide waiting another year or more only to be told that the surgeon got squeamish about operating on someone with chronic pain.Please, if you can afford it, your help would be literally life-changing. Due to chronic pain, I have trouble binding and the resulting dysphoria keeps me not just from social engagements but from many aspects of daily life. The NHS seems intent on messing me around and I can’t put up with it any more. The goal is right now at the upper end of the usual range for double mastectomy. I’ll need a double incision procedure and likely a slightly modified procedure due to my cup size, so I’d like to err on the side of caution, but if I have an exact quotation soon, I’ll update the goal.
