Wanda’s Warriors

First—Wanda would kill us if she knew we were doing this!

She has always been exceedingly generous with her friends and clients, and we would like to help her in any way that we can.

She has not been feeling very well since January, when she thought she threw her back out. Unable to work, they started a myriad of tests, ultimately resulting in a terrible diagnosis. She has not been able to work for nearly 5 months now, and had to close her very popular business, Wanda Allen Designs. She is overwhelmed with both closing the business, and trying to figure out what this diagnosis will bring.

Last month, Wanda was diagnosed with Stage 4 Pancreatic cancer that has spread to her liver and stomach. She is at home now and beginning chemotherapy treatments. Her journey will not be easy and will be filled with uncertainty. Rob, her husband is retired. So, without her store, and Rob retired, the medical bills will add up fast.

For YEARS, Wanda has been the Go-To person for donations to non-profit auctions, giving every chance she could. Her store has so many memories of engagements, graduations, birthdays and special occasions. Almost everyone in town has a Wanda story. She is beloved by many. If I were to make a list of all the charity donations she has made—the list would be very long.

Please help us to help Wanda and her family by donating whatever you can to help with the costs of her treatment. She will be embarrassed that we are fundraising for her—BUT it is necessary at this time. Wanda is ready to fight this battle and she needs our love and prayers. God Bless.
