In loving memory of Zan Abbas - 32 hand pumps in Pakistan

Asalaam alaikum

As you may know my beautiful husband Zan Abbas sadly returned to Allah swt earlier this year on 12th July 2024. Zan was many things - a caring son, a loving husband, a supportive brother, a loyal friend, a great doctor, but most importantly he was an amazing father.

We had planned for a lifetime of memories and adventures, but we didn't know his lifetime was only of 32 years. For this reason, Khadijah and I are hoping to raise funds to donate 32 hand pumps in Pakistan, in memory of each year he lived.

Zan was a chilled out, happy and simple man who would try his best to help others - whether that was through his work or on a personal level.

We won't be able to fill the void he has left, but we hope to honour him and his life with this form of charity.

May Allah swt accept this Sadqa-E-Jaria on behalf of Zan, forgive him for his shortcomings, fill his grave with noor and elevate his rank in Jannah, InshaAllah, Ameen.

Please note: Gofundme will be taking a small fee from each donation. In order for there to be complete transparency and 100% donation from the funds you donate I would like to assure you that the final fee for Gofundme will be covered by myself so all donations will go directly towards the hand pumps InshaAllah.

Each hand pump will cost £182 so InshaAllah we are hoping to raise £5824 for all 32 hand pumps.

Abu Qatadah reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “The best of what a man leaves behind are three: a righteous child who supplicates for him, ongoing charity the reward of which reaches him, and knowledge that is acted upon after him.”
