Please consider supporting the Borchers as they grieve the heartbreaking loss of their beloved Zane.
Zane Matthew Borchers, age 37, of Dundas, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, July 31st, 2022, at his home. Zane was well loved and a fantastic husband and father. He is survived by "his person", "love of his life", and wife, Jen, and three amazing children, Benjamin (14), Raelyn (7), and Delaney (4).
A true servant leader, Zane served in the United States Marines in the 3d LAAD BN and deployed to Okinawa, Japan, and Djibouti, Africa. He received the Marine Corps Good Conduct Medal, the National Defense Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, and Rifle Sharpshooter Badge. Following active duty, he continued to serve in the Reserves until 2011.
Following his honorable discharge, Zane cherished his roles as a big brother, uncle, cousin, nephew, husband, father, and friend, but still found ample time and energy to give back to his community. He and Jen worked tirelessly to support the success of the Northfield Hockey Association, Northfield Gymnastics Club, and many other worthy causes.
Please help Jen, Ben, Raelyn, and Delaney if you are able. This wonderful family has been a pillar of support to so many of us. We are grateful for them and our hearts are with them during this unimaginable loss.
Sending them so much love and support!
