Zane Werner

Dear family, friends, and community,

On July 3, 2022 my cousin Betty Werner was found in the woods after she passed away from gunshot wounds. She was only 33 years old. Betty’s son Zane, 10 years old, lost both of his parents as a result of the circumstances around Betty’s death. Zane is in the loving care of his grandparents, but he has a long road ahead of him to heal and find stability as he learns to adjust to life without parents. While I have no doubt his immediate family will find a way to be sure Zane is provided with everything he needs to be safe, loved, and well cared for they could really use some help. There’s not a lot of extra money for the things that Zane deserves and even providing for his basic needs will not be easy for my aunt and uncle. I know there are so many people out there in need but trust me when I say this little boy really needs help. I respectfully ask for the community to join me in extending love and support to Zane through anything you can spare.
