Help Us Repatriate Zanele Sibanda After Her Tragic Murder
Dear Friends, Family, and Kind Supporters,
It is with profound sadness that we share the tragic news of Zanele Sibanda’s passing. Zanele, a vibrant 28-year-old woman, was senselessly taken from us in an act of violence on Tuesday, as she was fatally stabbed at the junction of Paul Street and Tarrington Road in Tredworth, Gloucester. Despite the efforts of those on the scene, Zanele was pronounced dead shortly after the incident.
Tanaka Zivania, 32, of Gloucester, has been charged with her murder and is currently in police custody. He is due to appear at Cheltenham Magistrates’ Court on Thursday.
As we grieve this unimaginable loss, we are faced with the heart-wrenching task of repatriating Zanele’s body to South Africa, where her family and loved ones are awaiting her return. The cost of repatriation and funeral arrangements is significant, and we are reaching out to our community for support.
We have set up this GoFundMe campaign to help raise the £12,000 needed to bring Zanele back to South Africa and give her the dignified farewell she deserves. We kindly ask for any contributions you can make, no matter how small, to help us in this difficult time. Your generosity will not only help us cover the costs but will also offer a semblance of comfort to her grieving family.
Thank you for your kindness, support, and prayers during this devastating time.
With heartfelt gratitude,
