Zanzibar - Repairing schools

Do you want to join me in making a difference? I'm raising money in aid of AFRICAN ADVENTURES FOUNDATION and every donation will help. I am raising money so I can travel to Zanzibar so I can volunteer for three weeks helping with construction, teaching and sports teaching. I am someone who has been very privileged throughout life especially in the case of education. Although I have had cancer and been unable to go to school for months, I was still taught by a teacher in the hospital. With the help of learning support, I was able to be brought back up to speed once I returned to school. However these children who I am going to work with don’t have that same privilege; they don’t even have the necessities for school. With classes holding several hundred pupils being taught several different things at the same time it is a stark contrast between my expand their own. With such a huge number of children to accommodate, it is essential that more classrooms are built and quickly. At the moment, children can only attend school part time which negatively impacts on the rate at which they can learn and the range of subjects they can be taught. The issue of “Third World” countries will never be solved unless we can raise the level of education and opportunity to create a more equitable future for all.Thank you in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to me.
