Zanzibar Orphanage Appeal

Over half the population in Zanzibar lives below the poverty line. Orphans are the most impacted. It is estimated that 12% of children suffer from acute malnourishment.

 

We intend to deliver 125 food packs. Each pack costs only £40.

 

Many orphaned children in Zanzibar do not have access to the basic necessities in life. The threat of not having food and medical care forces them to work, resulting in a lack of education and ultimately damaging their prospects of bringing about change.

 

The food packs will include the following:

 

Rice

Sugar

Flour

Oil
