Zara Daugherty’s Book Tour

Zara is an eight-year-old published author from St. Louis, MO. She is raising funds that will

help her promote her book “Broken Promise.” Zara's book has had a positive impact on children as well as adults. With her book being written from a child's perspective, it makes it easier for her to relate and connect with kids. The book incorporates how Zara used her therapy tools to push through her negative emotions to eventually have the best day ever! There is a stigma in the community around getting children connected to therapy when they have experienced events that have a long-term effect on their life. Zara wants to leave a positive mark on children across the world through her story. Her book has already touched so many. She has had 4 book signings and 5 public book readings. She has sold over 200 copies of her book. She appreciates the overwhelming support that she has received from those that have gotten their copy.

She would like to use the funds for:

-Promotional materials

- Purchasing items for her book signings (a folding table, signage and decorations)

-The majority of the funds will go towards purchasing more copies of her book to reach more children.
