Zavala Family Medical Expenses

It is with a heavy heart that I have to write this on behalf of my sister Marie Zavala. As most of all family and friends already know, my sister Marie, brother in law Roberto & nephew and niece Calixto and Pilar were involved in a vehicle accident early Friday morning. We are heartbroken to inform everyone that my brother in law Roberto unfortunately passed away. Marie and Calixto have been discharged from the hospital and are slowly recovering from their injuries. Nelly is safe as she was not with them at the time of the accident. Pilar just had her 3rd surgery today as she is the one that suffered the most fractures and internal bleeding. We are asking for as many prayers we can get. They have a long road ahead of them for physical healing and to try to cope as best as possible with the irreparable loss of their husband and amazing father. Roberto was a great husband and dad. He was more like a brother to me and he will be greatly missed. He was a loving son, brother and uncle to his family and we are praying for them as well as they cope with this loss. From what the doctors have told us, Pilar will need to be here in San Antonio at University Hospital for a couple of weeks while she recovers enough and gest physical therapy to get discharged. If you feel it in your heart to make a donation for any expenses that will be incurring during their stay and in the next couple of months. We would appreciate it from the bottom of our hearts. If you cannot donate monetary, we ask for as many prayers we can get. We believe that God is going to heal Pilar, she is a strong girl and has been doing amazing even through all this.
