Hi, my name is Lillian and I am raising funds for my daughter Zayda.

Zayda who is affectionately known as "Zay" is A bright and charismatic 20-year-old who went through a life-changing tragedy on the night of September 17th, 2022. On that tragic night in September Zayda was at a friend's house where an altercation over a parking dispute took place that led to Zayda being Shot in the neck and having the bullet lodged in her spinal cord. That tragic incident left Zayda a paraplegic and she is now paralyzed from the chest down. Zayda was a innocent bystander in this complete tragedy.Zayda and her mother Lillian have been struggling to put the pieces together as this tragedy has become their new normal way of life. Zayda and her mother are currently living in a two-bedroom apartment on the second floor which as you could imagine is extremely difficult, And the housing complex that they live in does not offer handicapped-accessible units, also during this tragic time Zaydas mother has lost her job due to

having to be home with her 24 hours a day to give her proper care. This sad situation caused Zayda to be in the hospital for over 50 days where the Amazing doctors and nurses at CCMC saved her life. Zayda has been fighting really hard to try and cope with her new way of life. As you can imagine this traumatic experience has put a financial strain on the family. We are asking for donations to help with the daily expenses that have been quickly piling up. Zayda and her mother Lillian would like to say thank you to everyone for your prayers and donations.
