Zayden Needs Surgery

This is my great nephew Zayden. He is almost five months old. He seems to be a normal happy baby boy. He loves to squeal and babble. He has started playing with toys, loves watching cartoons and listening to Disney tunes on the radio.

What you can't see is that Zayden has AVM (arteriovenous malformation). You can read more about this disorder in the included link below.

Because of Zayden's condition he has a blood clot in his brain. His condition also caused an enlarged heart valve. He will be having surgery to attempt to correct the blood vessel malformation in his brain on December 15th, 2022. This is a very delicate surgery. His neurological team is at Mount Sinai hospital in New York, over three hours away. He will be hospitalized for several days.

The purpose of this GoFundMe is to raise money to cover hotel expenses for Zayden's mom for the duration of his stay in NYC. This is their second trip for his mecial care. He has already had one surgery. Zayden's mom is only 17 years old. She is doing her best to care for him as a young mother but her finances are extremely tight. His grandparents help as much as possible but with multiple trips and stays in NY for our little guy we need help.
