Help Samantha Beat Cancer !!

Hello Everyone.

My name is Courtney (Germek) Onuskanych and I am organizing this fundraiser on behalf of the Bellouny/Pellegrino families. I have had the absolute pleasure of knowing the Pellegrino’s for 25+ years and it is with the heaviest of hearts that I am asking for your help.

Recently, Samantha was diagnosed with Stage 2 Breast Cancer. Devastated doesn’t even begin to describe the heart sinking, breath taking feeling to hear the word “cancer,” much less it being associated with a beautiful 29 year old woman just starting out her life with her young family and successful career. Samantha is a loving Mother of two beautiful girls, Paisley (4) and Sage (11 months) and beloved wife to Peter, her soulmate. Samantha is a true dream of a daughter that any parent could ever hope to have; Samantha continues to make Donna and Anthony beyond proud every single day. Samantha is a wonderful sister to Teresa; Sam has given Teresa the best gifts in the world, her nieces/goddaughter. Samantha is a cousin, niece, and friend. She is a dedicated teacher to her students who she loves as her own. Samantha embodies so many attributes that make this world a better place and she makes this world a better place just by being herself.

At this time I am humbly asking for monetary OR gift card donations to directly benefit Samantha and her family. A meal train has already been organized, set up, and fulfilled through the end of the summer. Samantha and Peter shop at ShopRite for household necessities including food, diapers, and wipes. Samantha has ALWAYS come out on top - Valedictorian of her High School Class & Summa Cum Laude from Kean University - this will be no different. Samantha will never be defined by her diagnosis. Cancer may be a part of her life at the moment, but it will NOT be forever. Cancer is strong, but Samantha is stronger and there is not a doubt in anyones mind that she will beat this. If you are a person of faith, we ask that you please pray for her healing and for the doctors that are treating her.
