Please Help With My Son’s Funeral

Update: We have just reached the goal of $4,000 and we are absolutely astonished by the outpouring of love and generosity from you all. Alex loved those in his life with a deep sense of humanity and your kind contributions have the same exact spirit of love and humanity to them. 100% of these proceeds will be used to honor Alex the way he deserves, for his tireless years as an advocate for the good of life, by completely funding his Memorial service and a few ancillary costs associated with it, such as documents fees and taxes.

If any additional contributions are made, they will cover any additional costs associated with the service, and then be distributed to a charitable donation to the SPCA per Alex’s wishes.

My son Alex Edwards suddenly and unexpectedly passed away on 11/09/2024. He was one of the best men you could’ve met. Alex leaves behind his brother and I.

He was only 37 and had just returned home from proposing marriage to his girlfriend, suffering cardiac arrest and passing away despite all medical intervention. The shock and pain are immense and the resources his brother and I have are limited.

Please consider helping us give him the honorable service he deserves. His birthday is in three weeks when $3,400 is due to the funeral home for his upcoming service.

Any donations can help fund the memorial service for my cherished son. The space left by his absence can never be filled for me. I’m just trying to do my best and give him the honor he deserves. The $600 beyond the service is for taxes and incidentals pertaining to the service.
